My new favorite website is The Guardian. Apparently UK designers seem to design better websites than anyone else.
Anyway, I like The Guardian not just for it’s aesthetic, but also for its stories. They always write articles on what I care about.
As far as I remember, the biggest impression of my 7 years in China was its pollution. It’s absolutely the worst. If you go to one of the less-known cities (obviously not Beijing or Shanghai), you’ll find heavy pollution, gray skies, yellow rivers, and streets full of spits, leaves, and trashes. I think China is improving on that area slowly. But seriously, when I first came to American, I was amazed at the broad view of sky (especially in Texas). In China (and in Japan), everything was blocked by buildings and people; you feel like the whole city is in a stomach congestion.
So from now on, everyone should be grateful about their beautiful sky (if they have one, that is.)
